Andy Yestrebi, DVM
Dr. Yestrebi's Bio
Dr. Andy Yestrebi, medical director at Companion Animal Hospital, has cared for animals long before becoming a veterinarian. Volunteering with the Erie County SPCA as early as 2006, Dr. Yestrebi then worked with Monroe Veterinary Associates from 2008 to 2011, first as an animal care assistant and then as a licensed veterinary technician at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services.
Dr. Yestrebi was born and raised in Fairview, NY and attended Medaille College, receiving his bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology in 2009. His veterinary education then took him to Canada, where he attended the University of Guelph and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Prior to joining the Companion Animal Hospital team, Dr. Yestrebi practiced veterinary medicine in North Carolina at the Academy Animal Hospital of Laurinburg and Startown Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Yestrebi is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has a number of professional interests, including ultrasonography, dentistry, radiology, surgery, acupuncture, and physiotherapy. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Yestrebi enjoys soccer, hockey, fishing, canoeing, skiing, snowboarding, camping, cooking, woodworking, and music.
Dr. Yestrebi shares his home with his wife, Michelle, and their pets, which include three dogs and one cat.
Marisa Quinlan, DVM
Dr. Quinlan's Bio
Dr. Marisa Quinlan joins the Companion team to lead the newly launched MVA Behavior Services. She is originally from Dryden, NY, and she completed her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Geneseo with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in psychology. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island before completing a small animal rotating internship at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services. Dr. Quinlan then completed a behavior specialty internship at the University of Pennsylvania prior to beginning her residency training there. She is thrilled to be back in New York and will be continuing her behavior residency from right here in Rochester, closer to family and home. Dr. Quinlan is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
While in veterinary school, Dr. Quinlan completed a summer internship at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center primarily training diabetic alert dogs, as well as training dogs for search and rescue, cancer detection, and police work (scent detection and patrol). She also worked as a dog trainer teaching puppy socialization classes and basic obedience. During undergrad, Dr. Quinlan raised a puppy named Papaya with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and worked in a research lab studying marine biology.
Dr. Quinlan has three pets of her own: a black Lab named Perseus and two cats named Andromeda and Cassiopeia. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, hiking, knitting, and training Perseus in obedience, recall, agility, and freestyle.

Brandi Frazier was born and raised in Dansville, New York. Brandi received her veterinary technician license at SUNY Delhi and has worked in the animal care industry for over 20 years.
Brandi enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets, as well as educating clients on how to properly care for their pets.
In her free time, Brandi enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. Brandi shares her home with her significant other, Joe, and their two sons, as well as their two dogs and two cats.
